Pretty little liars is coming to an end. And while I haven't been really watching this show for years, I've always been keeping tabs on it. I'm very used to see gifsets, edits, quotes and rants of every single episode, each week. And as I used to love this show a lot back in 2010 when it started, I decided to watch the last few episodes. So buckle up, because we finally find who killed Charlotte, and we're in for a ride.

Spoilers ahead.
The first thing we see is Detective Tanner literally trying to wake up a judge to sign the arrest orders to all 5 liars. She is ready to stop this girls at any cost, and quickly.
We pick up where last weeks episode left, with Aria in the middle of the road, with Archer's body on her car truck and a policeman right behind her.
She, very nervously, told the cop she dropped her car keys into the truck, (which was true) but that she has already called a friend to go help her. The very nice cop helps her to open the trunk, to the despair of Aria. Luckily he gets a radio message which distracts the policeman enough for Aria to pick up her keys without revealing the corpse.
Caleb and Ezra are filling up the liars on their discovery that Mona had the board game. They are convinced she is AD. Spencer tells her friends they need Mona to confess to what she has been doing to them so they could explain why they were there the night Dunhill was killed.
Ezra is PISSED the girls gave Aria the cold shoulder, and storms out to find his fiancée, as she doesn't pick up her phone. Caleb follows him, and apparently hacks her car key and such. (Internet is your friend)

Aria kinda loses her mind with Archer's body doing all the noise in the world (from a dead guy, at least) so while keeping conversation with the body, she gets to the conclusion that she can make it up to her friends by confessing to his murder, she has the body anyways.
She goes to the police station, and forces herself to go in but, (luckily, I guess) Ezra stops her before anyone sees her there.
Mona has just discovered the game is gone, and A.D wants her to go get pie or something. Caleb and Hanna go to Mona's lair to confront her about everything, but they see her as she was leaving, so obviously they follow her.
Spencer meets with Mary in the Lost Woods, where she gives the motel to her and Alison as a goodbye gift. They will need the money for the lawyers, Mary says. A very touching moment, and you see how much Mary cares about her daughter and how Spencer realizes that.
Ali is worried about the baby, and how the Charlotte story will repeat all over again, if she and Emily get arrested, as they know the police is watching them. Emily tries to calm her down, and promises to don't let anyone hurt her. However they have a gas escape on the house and they both fall sleep.

Hanna and Caleb had followed Mona to the two crows, where she is supposed to meet someone. Spencer also gets there, and they theorize how Mona was supposed to meet Charlotte there the night she was murdered. Caleb and Hanna bicker for a moment, and Spencer laughs as they are fighting like a married couple (News Flash: they are). Spencer asks Hanna if she called Emison, but she answers that they didn't pick up. Caleb sneaks out and confronts Mona, who is very nervous. She explains how someone took her board game ("Somebody is always stealing the game from me"). She gets a note and she escapes from Caleb, Spencer and Hanna. In any case, their brief encounter convince Caleb she is not really A.D but she knows something. Mona escaped through a secret passage on the ladies room. Spencer and Caleb follow her while Hanna goes back to rosewood on her car.
Back in their apartment, Ezra tries to convince Aria to skip town, but she refuses to leave her friends alone. (Or the little problem of somebody's corpse on the trunk of her car) As they go to deal with the body they find out is missing, again.
We finally see the scene from season 6,(before the flash forward) and it turns out is just Emily's nightmare of someone hurting Alison. (what a rip off)
But I did appreciate the "Alison Dilaurentis - Fields" on the chalkboard.

As she wakes up, by falling out of the couch, they realize that the game is there, again. With that old creepy video, Ian took of Ali. (Look how fetus she looks, how cute) Aria comes to the rescue. And they apologize to her for cutting her out.
Back in the tunnels Caleb tells Spencer, he and Hanna are married, and that he for some reason has the urge to say he is sorry. She is having none of it, she is glad Caleb and Hanna are happy, but says she won't forget or apologize for being with him (it was nice. And I did really liked them together. And I never was a really big Caleb fan, so there is that) Moving on, Aria, Ezra, Emily and Alison, see there is some kind of police raid, as unbeknownst to them Tanner got the arresting orders, but they get the hell out of there, before anything mayor happens.
As Hanna was trying to make a call, she spots flower petals raining out of the bell tower, and goes to investigate, finding Mona on her old clothes and pigtails. Mona thinks Hanna is Charlotte, and is basically in the middle of a mental breakdown.
Mona tells how Charlotte met with her there, as when she got out of the hospital was all just a fake out, and she was ready to break havoc once again. And wow what a bitch was Charlotte. And how Mona was trying so hard to protect Hanna, and by extent her friends.
In present day Mona still thinks Hanna is Charlotte and tries to push her out of the window, but Caleb and Spencer come to the rescue, as the tunnel led to the bell tower.
They go back with Mona to the car, where there are two more pieces to the puzzle. (Poor Mona)
The entire group reunites and discusses how will they handle the Mona situation, as they can't take her to the police in her current state. They agree to asks Dr. Sullivan to come pick her up. The boys watch Mona, while the liars complete the puzzle, which leads them to Archer Dunhill's body, via augmented reality (Where the hell both A and A.D get her tech, for real?)
The corpse is in Charles' symbolic grave. And they are ready to dug the body out, but Aria speaks some true words and they decide not to. But as they are leaving, Tanner comes with a backhoe loader, literally. The liars have been caught in the act.

They are basically ready to confess the hole thing, but Mary comes to the rescue and confesses to killing both Jessica and Archer. How she killed him for forcing her to kill her sister and steal for her family, how she hid the body in the woods. But she refuses to tell who was using his credit card to make it look like he was still alive.
Spencer is crushed as she realizes Mary was saying goodbye because she was going to confess. Tanner let he liars go. Of course they are stunned. However we all know Tanner is not biting any of their bullshit, but she is aware the district attorney would prefer Mary confession over anything else.
Spencer tries to talk with her mom but Tanner wouldn't let her. Aria tells Spencer, how Mary did this for her, so she shouldn't ask her to explain herself. Without a word, Mary asks Spencer and her friends to keep quiet.

Mona explains how she killing Charlotte was really an accident, as she hit herself on the neck in a fight with Mona. And tell Hanna how much she asking for help meant to her. (Again, POOR MONA)
At the end the game turn itself off, and A.D drove off into the sunset, in tune with "Without You" by Harry Nilsson, an odd selection if you ask me.
Next week is the 2 hours series finale and of course we still need the answer to the biggest question of them all. Who the hell is A.D? At least on this episode we got rid of a few pending storylines like the police investigation, who killed Charlotte, Dunhill's body...
It was a really nice hour of tv, just getting ready for the biggest episode of them all.
Score: 3.5/5
