  • Damon Lindelof next proyect. The Leftover showrunner is in talks with HBO to develop a show based on the DC comics property, Watchmen. Zach Snyder, who directed a movie based on the comic back in 2009, was once attached to the proyect, but has since parted from it. The series is still on the early stages of development.

  • Dracula, here we go again. Sherlock's writer duo, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat are working on a Dracula Inspired show. The duo partnering with Hartswood Films. The details are scarce but, Variety is reporting that the show would be in the same format as Sherlock, a miniseries of sorts with multiple seasons. As of this moment there is no news in casting.

  • Star Trek new voyage. The CBS all access exclusive series has finally a premiere date. The first episode will debut on Sunday, Sept. 24 on both the network and its streaming arm CBS All Access. Subsequent episodes will drop every Sunday only on CBS All Access, with the second episode available the same night as the premiere. Discovery was originally slated to bow in January 2017, but behind-the-scenes issues led CBS to delay it.

  • Fiona new BFF. Jessica Szhor has been cast in Shameless in a recurring role, as Nessa, a tough, smart lesbian who lives in Fiona’s newly purchased apartment building, per The Hollywood Reporter. Nessa will reportedly develop a strong friendship with her landlord Fiona.

  • Regular Handmaid. Alexis Bledel has been upped as a series regular on the hit drama The Handmaid's Tale, for it's second season. The hulu show will comeback in 2018.

  • Rocko's Modern, Modern life. The original voice cast is returning for the TV movie. The Nickelodeon project will drop on 2018. Rocko’s Modern Life is the latest in a series of classic NickToons getting the TV movie treatment. Hey Arnold!: The Movie premieres this fall, while the network is also cooking up a small-screen special for Invader Zim.

  • Defenders Portrait. Marvel and Netflix have debuted a new poster for the show, The Defenders premiering on Aug. 18. They also released 4 motion posters with the protagonists: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron fist.

  • Crime victim. Ryan Murphy's frequent collaborator, Finn Wittrock has been cast for the new season of American Crime Story, as the best friend and first victim of serial killer Andrew Cunanan. American Crime Story will tackle the Gianni Versace assasination and will debut in early 2018.

  • The lion's uncle. Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo has been cast to voice Scar in the Disney Jr's animated series, The Lion Guard. Based on the 1994 movie The Lion King. The actor will debut in the Season 2 opener “The Rise of Scar,” which premieres July 7.

  • Freaks. Hulu's zombie-soap opera, Freakish has cast new members, of the likes of Brant Daugherty, Arden Cho and Ryan McCartan. The AwesomenessTv produced show season 2 have 10 episodes on Hulu.

  • Election Time. American Horror Story Election Themed season will have Colton Haynes as a cast member. No details on what character the actor will be playing, he joins Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Billy Eichner and Leslie Grossman.

  • Supernatural Forever. The CW is trying again to launch a Supernatural spin off. This time around Sheriff Jody Mills. According to Deadline, the premise for the tentatively titled Wayward Sisters, will be introduced in a Season 13 episode of Supernatural, as a back door pilot. Sheriff Mills and a group of troubled young women, all orphaned by supernatural tragedy, will team up as a supreme monster-fighting force. Back in 2014 The CW tried to give the long running series a spin off, Supernatural: Bloodline, which never made it past the pilot episode.

  • George R.R Martin TV kingdom. Syfy has ordered a pilot for Nightflyers. The George R.R Martin 1980's novella, has a script by Jeff Buhler, and Doug Liman will serve as executive producer. Martin is not involved in the project as of now, as he is on a exclusivity deal with HBO.

  • Another true crime story. Heather Graham, Elizabeth Reaser and Larry Cedar have been cast for the upcoming NBC’s anthology series, Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders. Graham, will play Judalon Smyth, an emotionally fragile woman who is having an affair with Dr. Oziel, the brothers’ therapist. Reaser, will play Deputy District Attorney Pam Bozanich, who is assigned to the murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez. She has to fight the politics of the DA’s office to keep control of the case. Cedar will play Kitty’s older brother, Milton Andersen. Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders will debut Tuesday, Sept. 26.

  • A new day. Netflix reimagining of Norman Lear’s classic, One Day at a Time, has cast Ed Quinn in a recurring role for season 2. Quinn will play an EMT who served with Penelope (Justina Machado) in Kabul. They run into each other at the hospital, and sparks fly.

  • Always be Cancelling. ABC has pulled the plug on Downward Dog after only one season. The final two episodes, of the Fargo alum Allison Tolman show, will air on June 27.

  • Winter is here. HBO debuted the 2nd trailer for season 7 of Game of Thrones. Which will premiere on July 16.
