  • Girlboss starring Britt Robertson has been cancelled at netflix.

  • Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley to star in Greg Berlanti's lifetime thriller film "You".

  • Fuller House to premiere in Full House 30th Anniversary at netflix.

  • Syfy orders a Pilot of Tremors, the reboot has Kevin Bacon attached.

  • Lauren Graham and James Van der Beek were cast as parents in the Disney Jr. series Vampirina.

  • Enrique Murciano wont return for the 5th season of The Blacklist. The actor appeared in the last four episodes of season 4 as obsessive FBI investigator Julian Gale. In related news, The Blacklist: Redemption cancellation, clears the way for original cast member Ryan Eggold to return.

  • Freida Pinto joins Hulu's The Path for season 3, as Vera, a potential love interest for Aaron Paul’s Eddie.

  • Better call Saul renewed for season 4. The 10 episode season will air in 2018 at AMC.

  • YouTube Red ordered "Impulse" a series produced by Doug Liman who also directed the pilot. Impulse is based on the third novel in the Jumper series by Steven Gould. It will debut in 2018 and will star Twisted's Maddie Hasson as rebellious 16-year-old, Henry who has always felt different from her peers and has longed to escape from her small town. She soon discovers she has the extraordinary ability to teleport.

  • Lady Gaga won't return for the upcoming election theme season of American Horror Story.

  • Bates Motel's Olivia Cooke is set to star in Amazon's latest adaptation of William Makepeace Thackeray’s Vanity Fair as Becky Sharp. Filming is expected to start in September.

  • Naya Rivera has been cast in the YouTube Red original series Step Up: High Water. The Glee vet will star alongside Ne-Yo. The series is set for debut this fall.

  • NBC's series This is Us just promoted various of it's actors to series regular status for the upcoming second season. Seven of its kid actors Hannah Zeile (teenage Kate), Niles Fitch (teenage Randall), Logan Shroyer (teenage Kevin), Mackenzie Hancsicsak (young Kate), Parker Bates (young Kevin), Faithe Herman and Eris Baker the girls who play Annie and Tess. Also promoted were Jon Huertas and Alexandra Breckenridge.

  • Disney XD is rumored to be developing a Herbie series. If true, the series is still on the early stages as supposedly they are not sure if they want a boy or a girl to star next to The Love Bug.

  • Designated Survivor cast Royal Pains' veteran Paulo Costanzo as series regular.

  • Sense8 revived at Netflix as a 2 hour special to debut in 2018. Creator, Executive producer and Director Lana Wachowski announced that the messages from the fans to the online platform helped them get the 2 hours finale.

  • WB is working on a live action remake of the Jetsons. Robert Zemeckis is executive producing. No other news at this moment.

  • Netflix renews Dear white people for season 2.

  • Degrassi: Next Class gets premiere date on Netflix.

  • Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim to exit Hawaii Five-0 ahead of season 8. Park and Kim had been seeking, pay equality with fellow original cast members Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan, failing to secure it which led to the departure.

  • The Carmichael Show cancelled at NBC. The Carmichael Show‘s third (and final) season currently airs on Wednesdays.

  • Mahershala Ali in talks to star in the third season of HBO's anthology crime series, True Detective. The second season of the show aired in 2015 to low rates, and creator Nic Pizzolatto was working on scripts for the next season at least since march 2017. Even if negotiations are happening, HBO has still not ordered a new season of the show.

  • Olivia de Havilland sues FX and Ryan Murphy over unauthorized use of the actress’ name and identity in the limited series Feud: Bette and Joan.

  • William Hartnell's Doctor to return for Doctor Who Christmas special later this year. Hartnell who originated the role in 1963 sadly passed away in 1975, however the first doctor will be played by David Bradley (Game of Thrones, the Harry Potter movies), who already played Hartnell in 2013’s An Adventure in Space and Time, a docudrama about the early years of Doctor Who. The Christmas special will most likely be also the last episode of Peter Capaldi's twelfth doctor.

  • Raven's home debuts extended trailer.

  • Halt and Catch Fire gets season 4 premiere date, and debuts teaser trailer.

  • Marvel reveals Inhumans trailer. In september the first two episodes will debut in theaters as an IMAX event. ABC will later in the month air the season.
