Sons of Anarchy spin off: Mayans MC pilot to be reshoot and recast. Preacher's Norberto Barba has been brought to executive produce and direct the new pilot episode. No news yet on which roles will be recasted.
Once Upon a Time casts 5 new faces to it's 7th season reboot. Gabrielle Anwar, Dania Ramirez, Adelaide Kane, Makia Cox and Rose Reynolds join the show in yet unnamed characters. The new season will follow a grown up Henry and his daughter in a new adventure.
Marvel's Luke Cage adds Mustafa Shakir as John McIver a harlem leader focused on vengeance and Gabrielle Denis as Tilda Johnson a holistic doctor whose history with the neighborhood continues to haunt her. Luke Cage is currently in production.
Netflix announces that a The Central Park Five mini-series is in development with Ava Duvernay set to write and direct. Each of the Netflix series’ five episodes will follow one of the accused teens from 1989, when they were first questioned about the crime, to 2014, when the five men won a multimillion-dollar settlement from the city for their wrongful conviction.
Selma Blair joins The Heathers reboot for Paramount Network [formely SpikeTV] playing Jade, Heather Duke's gold-digger step-mom.

Supergirl Recast Alura Zor-El. Laura Benanti has stepped down the show in favor of raising her child and other commitments in New York City. Smallville's Erica Durance has been tapped to replace Benanti in the role for season 3.
Katrina Law joins Crackle's new drama, The Oath. Law will play tomboy police officer Karen Beach who gets involved in a forbidden affair with a member of a rival group. The Oath is slated to premiere on the streaming network in 2018.
The Exorcist revamped season 2 has cast John Cho, who will play Andrew Kim, a former child psychologist whose foster child is targeted by a powerful force. Season 2 returns on September 29.
