After the last episode implying Wynonna was pregnant because of the curse, we find out Doc could possibly not be the father of the heir offspring. But before going into that rabbit hole, let's catch up with the rest of the BBD gang.

Wynonna is onto the Gardner sisters, she knows something is up, as her friend Mercedes wasn't herself, she was a bitch bitch, not a fun bitch, on her own words.
And she wants her squad to patrol the sisters 24/7, something they don't really have the personnel to do so, but Dolls and Jeremy comply, and watch out for them, until Jeremy finds a little piece of the widows veil.
Jeremy, with the help of Dolls and Doc, tries to extract the toxin to create some kind of vaccine, however in the ordeal, Jeremy bonds himself with Doc and Xavier via a spell. Which is kind of a bummer, as Doc has been marked for execution, by a ghostly law man from 1882 who has been hunting Doc for the intention to fornicate with the wife of a judge, so there is that.
Dolls and Jeremy would have been also killed as they protected Doc, but as it turns out, the law man who was after him was, Bass Reeves, personal hero to Xavier, and also a deputy Marshall, AND below Dolls ranks, so, he was able to pardon Doc.
At the end of the hour the spell had wore off, and we get a nice Dolls and Doc conversation, which wasn't a fight over the girl which was so refreshing on TV. I also like Jeremy who in part has taken the role of Innocent Waverly and on the other hand is kind of the viewer guy, who literally say how adorable Xavier and Henry are, how cute a Wynonna and Doc would be, and is basically shipping Nicole and Waverly for the rest of his life.

Let's get into the meat of the episode, Wynonna's baby daddy. Turns out she is not so sure is Doc's baby. As she had a one night stand, after killing the 7 revenant who killed her dad, after her encounter with the Jack of Knives, and he got to her so bad she just dealt with it the best way she knew, she binged. And ended up in a strip joint and she had sex with Jonas. She tells all this to Nicole who has been tasked with mommy sitting Wynonna.
Turns out Jonas is a revenant. And he figures out Wynonna is pregnant, and that the baby could be his. So he gets cocky, thinking the heir won't kill him because of the baby, but as we all know she is hot headed, and points peacemaker at him, she tries to run away but Waverly knocks him unconscious.
Nicole, Waverly and Wynonna talk about how to deal with Jonas without killing him, but as Waves points out, that's Wynonna job.
They get Jonas out, and he gets cocky again, and spews a ton of misogynistic stuff to an already emotional Wynonna. And we all know this is a No-No on this show. Wynonna shots him dead, she has decided she will raise her kid with her sister.

Waverly ask what we all are thinking, what it is this baby? Wynonna simply reply with an Ours. She is a goddamn superhero.
I noted some interesting editing choices, as every time the baby was mentioned as the hybrid of an human and a revenant, either the camera was ON Waverly or Waverly was mentioned right in that moment. Which gets us to the end of the episode, Waverly finally told her sister she could in fact Not be an Earp at all.
This season has been a complete character study, and I've been loving every second of it. This show is a fun show, and that doesn't deny the drama within it. And while the show has fantastic secondary characters there is no doubt at any point this is Wynonna's story. Something greatly appreciated.
This weeks episode was great developing the friendships between Nicole and Wynonna, who both have Waverly first on their heart, as well as the friendship between Dolls and Doc, [with a side of Jeremy] that proved they can be friends despite both having feelings for the same person.
The acting is fantastic, specially Dominique Provost-Chalkey and Melanie Scrofano, both embody their characters flawlessly and their dynamic is as sisterly as sisters can be. I personally thank SyFy for renewing this show for a third season. Well deserved. I can't wait to know more about this fantastic world.
